Rob is a partner at Santen & Hughes who represents people and businesses in strategic planning, negotiations, administrative proceedings, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Rob’s practice is focused in business counseling, contracts, personal injury, wrongful death, civil rights, and general civil litigation. Rob works with his clients in all aspects of day to day decision making and formal legal proceedings.

Rob has extensive experience in construction and contracting matters. Rob’s clients include contractors, materials suppliers, developers, government entitles and property owners and he is involved in all stages of the construction process from permitting and planning to payment and collection. Rob has successfully litigated and arbitrated cases in government and private construction disputes and has lectured and written on Kentucky and Ohio mechanic’s lien law.

Rob has served as an adjunct Professor of Legal Writing at Salmon P. Chase College of Law and has experience in the judiciary, serving as an extern to the Honorable Judge William Bertelsman, Judge, U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
