Charles (“Chuck”) M. Meyer specializes in business law and commercial litigation. He works closely with owners of privately held businesses concerning contracts, sales transactions, buying/selling businesses, debtor/creditor rights, and estate planning. Chuck has extensive experience in handling a wide variety of civil litigation, in all state and federal courts, including contract disputes, construction, real estate, probate, employment, shareholder/partner disputes and collections. His practice also involves significant representation of debtors and creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization cases.

Chuck is admitted to practice in Ohio, Kentucky, Florida, and Massachusetts, in the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Ohio, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and U.S. Supreme Court. He graduated magna cum laude with an undergraduate degree in English from Boston College in 1974, and received his law degree from Boston College Law School in 1977.

Chuck is involved in numerous non-profit community organizations, including being Chair of the Board of Directors for the Corporation for Findlay Market, which operates Ohio’s oldest public market. In 2003, the Cincinnati Bar Association awarded him the John W. Warrington Community Service Award for extraordinary volunteer community service.

Chuck is the President and a managing partner of Santen & Hughes.
